The modulated photo-reflectance (PR) system covers a spectral range from 300 nm to 1700 nm. The light sources are a Tungsten lamp and a Xe lamp dispersed by a Spex1681 spectrometer. Detectors include Si diode, InGaAs diode and PMT. In combination with Photo-elastic Modulator (PEM-90) and magneto-optics system (Spectromag-4000), the PR system also serves as a Magnetic Circular Dichroism (MCD) system.
