Abstract

I review the recent progress of cluster Mott insulator in both two dimensions and three dimensions, and clarify the novel physical progress and exotic properties below the Mott gap. After that, I will discuss the recent progress on the quantum spin liquid in a spin-orbit coupled Mott insulator YbMgGaO4.
